project 2
ALDFG Reduction Initiative in Cameroon
About the project
The Environment and Food Foundation (E2F) seeks to address the issue of abandoned, lost, or otherwise discarded fishing gear (ALDFGs) on Cameroon’s Atlantic coast. The presence of ALDFG poses a significant threat to marine ecosystems, wildlife, and the livelihoods of coastal communities. Through the “Cameroon – ALDFG Reduction Initiative,” E2F aims to increase awareness, develop sustainable solutions, and engage stakeholders to reduce the impact of ALDFG on the marine environment.
